Swatches: Pixie dust fall 2013

I love love LOVE the new Pixie Dust line! :D I purchased two first and the rest I will purchase next month. So here is the two polishes that I got:

The left one is Chita and the right one is Tomoko :)

This photo was taken indoors , any photo does not do justice on how pretty the pixie dust polishes are in person.

This was taken outdoors but in the shade. It's so PRETTY!!!!!

This was in direct sunlight. See it glisten!

My thoughts:
Chita is a one coater! You do not need anymore than one coat of this. It is as opaque as Chyna or Liberty. It is on the thicker side compared to Tomoko.
Tomoko is a two to three coater just like Godiva. It is more on the gold shade but it still has a little silver n it as well. Best way to describe this polish is, it's a bottle of glitter pixie dust :D I love it! I can't wait to get my hands on the other colors in this collection.
Til next time!
Have an awesome day ahead and please subscribe to my blog!

I bought these polishes from www.polishplease.ph for Php 430.00

NOTD: Mani for Talia

For those of you who do not know who Talia Joy Castellano is, let me tell you about her.
She was a 13 year old girl who had two types of cancer. She never gave up and despite everything she was going through , she managed to inspire a lot of people around the world. She had a amazing out look on life that was so uplifting and made you want to do more with your own life. She accomplished so much in her 13 years of life then most people do at that age. She inspired me. She touched my heart. Now she is with God and is no longer suffering from cancer. She finally got her wings.
One of her lat instagram posts was of her and her mom's matching mint manicures. So in honor of Talia I did my version of a mint mani :)

I used mint candy apple by essie and for my accent nails I used some silver polish and glitter polish as well as the matte about you top coat for my pinkie finger :)

Haul: My Sweet tooth for Candy Lacquer

At the start of this month my cousin and I developed a sweet tooth, and decided to purchase some bottles of polish from Candy Lacquer. :P She picked out three bottles and I only decided to get two. It was more economical for me to combine orders with my cousin because we split the shipping cost. (It isn't cheap to ship nail polishes from the U.S. all the way here :-/ )
Man! Was I overjoyed when the package arrived after only two weeks! normally for the cheapest form of shipping it would take a month to get here.
So here's what we got:
Candy Girl (that's Mine)

Candy Girl - it has green, soft pink and holographic glitter in a clear base with big flower shaped and heart shaped glitter mixed in. Looks amazing on the nails :)

(left-no colored base right- with OPI Pink Friday)
next is American Girl: (mine as well )

this is a predominantly red glitter with different shaped glitter mixed in (stars, circles, squares, flower shaped, lines) as well as pink glitter, holographic , blue, white and black glitter. You name it this bottle has it!

(left- no base right- revlon color stay in indigo night)
Fluttershy- my cousin got this one!

I wish I got this as well!!! lol It is a gold and pink circular glitter with butterfly holographic glitter mixed in. It is so pretty in person, pictures do not do it justice!

(right- no base coat left: with A crewed interest)
Movie Night-

this bottle reminds me of movies in the 80's specifically "Back to the Future" It has black, purple, blue, white and silver glitter in different shapes!

(Right- no base left- with revlon color stay in Inigo night)
I know I said we ordered five bottles but when Candy Lacquer shipped out orders out they forgot to include Graffiti Sweetie :( It's okay though becasue as soon as I informed them they not only shipped me the missing order but offered to add another polish for free!!!! (awesome customer service! not because they gave me a free bottle but because of the fast response and how accommodating they were) I decided to get bunny dreams 2 :) I will show them to you all once they have arrived.
Here's a look I made using Candy Girl :)

Awesome Nail Polish Finds :)

I was browsing my favorite online nail polish shop and I came a cross these two babies! I couldn't believe my eyes! I know that these both have been discontinued and I was almost sure I would have a very difficult if not impossible time trying to get my hands on these at a decent price.

(OPI- Pirouette My Whistle)

(OPI- Mrs. O'Leary's BBQ)
I know fully understand the hype these polishes have. "MOB" is this amazing deep red/burgundy with a tint of brown that should be a staple in any girls nail polish collection ( yes! I just said that! :P) and "PMW" is subtle and reminds me of the glitters you would see on a tutu :) I <3 Pirouette My Whistle!!!

I paid Php400.00 per bottle :) Both are still available at www.polishplease.ph (the site only ships to the Philippines)
So for all the pinays out there that would like to get a hands on these better buy it now while they are both available! :)
I Can't wait to wear these! (giddy jump :P)

A Whole Lotta Nail Polish Haul

I went gaga this month and bought a whole lot of nail polish (hence the title :P lol)
Let us start of with Zoya :) I got one bottle of Godiva (pixie dust)
This is my favorite from the Pixie Dust line! It is sophisticated and gorgeous looking on the nail. This is actually my second bottle :P

Next up from Essie is A Cut Above :) I have been looking at this online for months and I don't have anything like it so I finally caved and got me a bottle :)

Also from Essie is Leading Lady from the Fall 2012 Collection if I'm not mistaken. I really love the shades Essie came up with in this collection.

Now for the bulk of my purchase :) 7 bottles from OPI :D (I am obsessed I need to stop!)
First of is Which is Witch . This is from the Oz the Great and Powerful Collection :) this collection is a favorite of mine right now :)

Next is also from the same collection :) Glitz of Gilda. It is a sheer nude beige color. It is subtle and dainty :) (reminds me of a sheer form of Samoan Sand)

I got a bottle of Berlin there done that. Which is this taupe brown shade. I've been on a neutral kick lately and wanted to get my hands on more neutral colors for my collection

The next one we have is a grape fit :) I don't have this shade of purple and I think it is a fun shade to have in my collection for when I feel like putting on something playful :Po

I also got Pink Friday, this isn't a true barbie pink but very close to it. It isn't "neon" like boom boom room from essie but it is a baby pink :)

How could I pass up a red polish? When I saw this I knew I had to have it! It is big Apple Red, a definite true red polish :) it isn't too blur toned and it isn't too yellow toned. just right I would have to say :)

Last but certainly not the least is Goldeneye. I understand now why so many people love this shade! It is so eye catching and pretty. You're nails look like you put gold leaf on your nails. Can't wait to wear this!

So that's what I got this month! I can't wait to create different looks with these polishes! I am so excited!
(All of these polishes were bought by myself from www.polishplease.ph
