Rainy Season Polish Picks!

So while in other counties it is officially summer here however it is the rainy season :(

As much as I love the fact that it is a bit cooler, the dreary weather can be a little depressing! I decided to pick out six polishes for this season that would help cheer me up when the clouds and the rain are out :)

So first up are my picks from Zoya :)

Aurora : this is a purple polish with holographic glitter mixed in. This is absolutely fabulous on the nails! I can't stop looking at my nails when I wear this. The photo doesn't do justice showing how beautiful and magnificent this is on the nails

Next is
Sari:
This is a sheer soft peach. This is for those days that I want something soft and girlie :) Such a pretty color that goes with any outfit :)

Now for OPI

Suzi's Hungary Again: this is a nice pink shade with a touch of blue. It has really fine micro glitter similar to You're such a Budapest. It isn't obvious once on the nail. I love wearing this shade :)

Innie Minnie Mighty Bow:  This is my favorite red polish at the moment. It is vibrant. I can get away with just 1 coat and is absolutely stunning! Perfect for this gloomy weather! Totally cheers me up everytime I wear it. :)

Finally for Essie:

Mint Candy Apple: This is one of the prettiest mint colors out there! Makes my hands look nice and tan.... I miss the sun! This is a definitely one of those colors that I will keep repurchasing :)

Last but not least is
Butler Please: Cobalt blue.... Had to pick a blue polish to represent the rain but not as gloomy. This is opposite of gloomy. Bright and vibrant! I just wish the formula was better :( but worth the color for this rainy season!

So that is my picks for this rainy season to make this time fun and colorful! Just because it isn't summer anymore doesn't mean I have to wear dull and dark colors! Whatever you feel like wearing on your nails, go for it! It is just temporary! You can always remove it anytime. Experiment and have fun! As the "young" people say YOLO (You Only Live Once) :P

Nail Polish Haul!!!

I ordered 7 nail polishes from my ever favorite site polishplease.ph :) 5 from Essie and 2 from Picture polish.

I got five out of six from the new Essie Summer Collection ( Full Team Ahead, Naughty Nautical, The More The Merrier, Sunday Funday and The Girls Are Out) the only one that I didn't get was Rock The Boat. It wasn't because I didn't like the shade it was more of I forgot to place it in my cart when I checked out. Lol I will purchase it next time :D this is definitely the first time I liked all the colors in a collection. (Will post a more in depth review on this collection next time :P )

Next up is the two polishes from Picture Polish :) I pre-ordered these from Polishplease as well. :) Thanks Monica!!! I highly suggest following her instagram (polishplease_ph) so you can be updated when ever she accepts pre-orders :) I am really falling inlove with this indi brand :D I have nothing but good things to say about Picture Polish. (But that is another blog for next time)

So this is my Haul , I got to go now because I have to start swatching these babies! So I can show them to you :)

P.S.
I'm not bragging in anyway, shape or form :P Just really wanted to share my haul :)

-Just some of my thoughts :) take care and have an awesome day ahead!

Review & Swatches : Candy Lacquer

After more or less a month of waiting my Candy Lacquer polishes have finally arrived!!! :D

I purchased Candy Circus and Rarity :) I've never seen these kinds of glitter before and I am inlove!!!
I also love the packaging! Simple but it makes the polish inside stand out. I now understand why a lot of people love buying candy lacquer :) it's easy to apply and the base is so clear!

For my first impression : I am definitely Impressed! :D

Here are swatches:

I can't wait to use these! I can think of so many looks I can do with these nail polishes and I will post the pictures here :) so look out for that! I am a fan of candy Lacquer now and I can't wait to purchase even more bottles from them!

Here is the nail look I came up with using Summer Circus:

Swatches: Tart Deco vs Haute as Hello

The question: What is the difference between Tart Deco and Haute as Hello?

Haute as Hello is definitely brighter than Tart Deco :) it is more of a peachy pink shade then tart deco, which is more of a peachy brownish color

They don't look so different in the bottle but when placed on the nail, you can definitely see the difference :)

My verdict: I like Haute as Hello more in terms of color but tart deco in terms of formula. Something to take note of is that tart deco dries a little darker then the bottle and haute as hello turns a little yellow with certain top coats... (With Zoya's Armor it was really evident but with Seche Vite not so much)

-Just some of my thoughts :) take care and have an awesome day ahead!

Picture Polish : My Deadly Obsession with Kryptonite

Since "Man of Steel" will be coming out soon I thought that it was time I show cased this nail polish by Picture Polish :)

It is this gorgeous emerald green polish with halo glitter . It is so pretty I can hardly take my eyes off my nails! Lol
I definitely understand why they decided to name it "Kryptonite". It reminds me of how I would imagine Kryptonite looking. I guess Super Man better stay away from me then :P

It is streaky on the first coat, so it is a definite two coater :)
(1 coat)

I am not a fan of emerald green nail polish but this one has totally won me over! Formula is great! The brush is too thin for my liking but still workable. Over all it is a really awesome polish worth every peso I spent on it! :D
